Hey there, I’m Shantae Latrese, and if you told me years ago that I’d be a full-time entrepreneur in the beauty industry, I would’ve never believed you.

I was raised in Kansas, and like many small-town girls, I never thought working for myself was even an option. In 2015, I moved to Los Angeles and continued climbing the corporate ladder, eventually becoming a VP Audit Manager making six figures. By all accounts, I was "successful"—but deep down, I wasn’t happy. In fact, the higher I climbed, the more I questioned why I was chasing a life that didn’t fulfill me.

Then came 2020. The world shut down, and I found myself working remotely—five months pregnant and dreading the thought of ever going back to the office. I started searching for a way out, knowing I’d take a pay cut if it meant gaining my peace back. That’s when I stumbled upon a video of a woman tattooing brows on YouTube, and something clicked.

I thought, “I can do this.”

What started as a simple side hustle quickly became my way out of the 9-5 grind for good. I took an online course, practiced relentlessly, and eventually replaced my six-figure salary with a career that doesn’t even feel like work.

Then in September 2023, my world shifted again—I lost my mother. 💔 I had to uproot my family and move to Dallas to take over her home. That meant starting over and building a whole new client base from scratch. But using the same strategies that helped me grow my business in Los Angeles, I was already booking clients before we even made it to Dallas.

That experience reminded me just how powerful the right business tools and strategies can be. No matter where life takes you, you can build, grow, and thrive. I’m truly thankful and grateful for the continued success, and now, I’m passionate about helping others do the same.
